This two-bedroom condominium had great bones and a beautiful layout, but the dark wall colors and black-painted fireplace made the space feel heavy and dated. The goal of the renovation was to make the home feel brighter, lighter, and more contemporary through thoughtful cosmetic updates and carefully selected design elements.

Subtle yet impactful changes transformed the condominium into a warm, sophisticated, and inviting living space. Updates included:

• Repainting all walls and trim throughout the home to create a brighter, more cohesive feel 
• Painting the fireplace white to beautifully contrast against the existing brick wall and become a fresh focal point in the living room 
• Selecting a few key furniture pieces to add personality, color, and visual interest to the space 
• Relocating the television from above the fireplace to a custom remote-controlled media cabinet on the opposite wall for a cleaner, more balanced layout 
• Adding specialized lighting to create warmth, ambiance, and layered illumination throughout the home 
• Installing puddled silk striped drapes to bring softness, texture, and elegance to the interiors 
• Incorporating curated artwork and wall décor to add character and complete the overall design 

The result is a refined and contemporary home that feels airy, comfortable, and effortlessly elegant while still maintaining the warmth of the original space.
